It's a pretty good french synth pop band with some hits made them popular around 1985 -1986 in French as "Partenaire particulier"(reached number 3) ; "Elle est partie" (reached number 17) and "Je n'oublierai jamais" (reached number 24). They released two albums -'"Jeux interdits" (1986) was a big success and "Le chant des vautours" (1988) -with they didn't have more success and remains the last disc of the group under its name.It seems recently they active again after taking part in round RFM Party 80 (04.03.2007) and announced want to release a new compilation Cd maybe this year with old and some new tracks
Sorry for my english!:)

Saltyka, thanks again for that Stewart/Gaskin post a few weeks ago. And while we're at it, you wouldn't happen to have any Gino Soccio stuff? Have some material of his on vinyl and even cassette, but none in digital form.
Catch you later

Wow, what a great post, thanks a lot! :)
I use to have the cassette when i was a kid, but i lost it many years ago...

As a request, have you got Les Charlots - Parod'hits parade? It's 80's french hits revisited by Les Charlots, but it's almost impssible to found it here (in France) unless you've got a lot of money to spend... :(

Oh, and as another request, have you got any Martine Clémenceau?

Thanks a lot for the great post and the memories :)

Where is Saltyka?! My nose has started running, I have a dull headache, and I tremble more and more. I need some new pop, some synth-laden 80s europop and if I don't get it soon...Oh please Saltyka...Please...

Good taste, Saltyka! I like to listen Didier Sustrac and Nilda Fernandez sometimes...

And for Les Charlots, i already some of the old stuff (52 cd, one is the big hits and the other one is a live recording frim the 60's or 70's)... The old tracks are not hard to found, and the cds are cheap... But the Parod'hits parade is rare now, and never re-edited since the mid 80's...

I can't believe how much of this I just wasn't aware of. Thank you for bringing more information to this topic for me. I'm truly grateful and really impressed.
