"Songwriter, singer and bass player, Martin Page, came in 1994 from behind the "pen" after writing several successful songs for acts such as Starship and Heart, to record this, his first and (so far) only solo work. This is definitely one of those cases where you're left wanting more. His lyrics are amazing: simple, yet touching. And the combination with the music is just perfect. Reminds a lot of the sound of Simple Minds, The Blue Nile, Mike and the Mechanics and Phil Collins' "Both sides..." album. No wonder, Phil Collins sits behind the drums for most of the songs. I certainly hope to hear back from Martin Page soon. In the meantime, this is a highly recommendable album that doesn't sound aged even after 8 years of its release."

"I've listened to this album forever--since I hunted it down after hearing "The House of Sun and Light". The title song is a beautiful, spiritual song on an incredible album. My favorite is "I Was Made for You"...probably one of the most moving, evocative, romantic songs I've ever heard."

Biography
The British techno-pop band Q-Feel scored a club hit with the single "Dancing in Heaven (Orbital Be-Bop)," included on their self-titled 1983 album.
A former professional soccer player, Martin George Page began his musical career writing songs for other acts. With Bernie Taupin, he co-wrote "We Built This City" for Starship and "These Dreams" for Heart, both becoming number one hits. He wrote also : "King Of Wishful Thinking" (Go West). In the mid-80s Martin and friend Brian Fairweather formed a new wave band, Q-Feel, whose song "Dancing in Heaven" received airplay in dance clubs and on an L.A. radio station, and was later featured on the "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" soundtrack. The song "We Built This City" was originally written for Q-Feel.
Group member Martin Page went on to achieve success as a songwriter and solo artist : recorded a hit solo album, In The House Of Stone And Light, in 1995. He has also written songs for artists including Robbie Robertson, Tom Jones, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Commodores, Paul Young, The Triplets, Kim Carnes, John Waite, Bad English and many others.

Q-FEEL - Dancing in Heaven (Orbital Bebop)

Countdown Its getting to the flight time
Night stars are shining in my eyes
My shoes are going to be the first ones
To dance deep up in the Skies

Dancing in Heaven I never thought I could get my feet this far
(Orbital Be-Bop)
Dancing in Heaven I never thought I could get my feet this far
(Orbital Be-Bop)
(Kick it out)

Slow-Slow- Quick Quick Slow
Slow-Slow- Quick Quick Slow

I'll be the first to Bassa Nova
Ten thousand miles above my legs
You dear, my lady on the Radar
I'll bring a child to Outer Space

Dancing in Heaven I never thought I could get my feet this far
(Orbital Be-Bop)
Dancing in Heaven I never thought I could get my feet this far
(Orbital Be-Bop)

Hey, Here I am
I hear the Universe Sing
The Celestial Scream
I am not alone
Are you receiving me clear
There is Others out here

Dancing in Heaven I never thought I could get my feet this far

I'd love a Q-Feel repost also. This is one of the last LPs that I need for my collection. I played this album often the year it came out.
