A pretty good band from 1983 with a famous producer Roy Thomas Baker (T.Rex,Queen,Foreigner,Cars,Devo,Espionage,T'Pau,Yes,The Stranglers,The Darkness etc.) on the background.
So its not a surprise that their music is rather new wave than synth pop,the guitars are dominating or balancing with the synths ,and also the vocal isnt so romantic. However they are slightly similar to Q Feel ( I've posted it before) to my mind, you wont be disappointed if you try.My personal favourites are the the melodious "im sorry" and the two songs with tighter rhythm "shoo shoo wah" and "whole lotta shooin.."
Who can help me out with more info about the band (members ,bio etc.)?
Next time coming one of my favourite Virgin Dance - against the tide (1984)

I have a copy of this album (why?). 'The World' were Wayne Hammer and Jeff Slater, with percussion by Guy Maxwell.
Hammer & Maxwell also worked with The Party, Animotion, and appeared on the 'Revenge of the Nerds II' soundtrack

I was hoping that you could repost 'The World - Break The Silence' as both the original and updated RS link is dead...I have loved 'The Loop' track for years but for some reason I always presumed it was from a single...I had no idea they released an entire album!
If you repost it, I would be more than happy to upload the rip to my Mediafire account and post an alternative link just in case it goes down in the future.
Actually, thats a good idea - if anyone asks for a repost then you can ask them in turn to host the file on a filesharing site of their choice and make another comment with their alternative link on! of course some people will just carry on treating music blogs like some free freakin Itunes but for the rest of us, its a good way of supporting the blog of Saltyka and his friends!
